Coachella 2017 Lookbook

DAY 1 | Inspiration: Springtime Movement

Dress: SugarCloth | Necklace: Nordstrom Rack | Sandals: TopShopDress: SugarCloth | Necklace: Nordstrom Rack | Sandals: TopShopDress: SugarCloth | Necklace: Nordstrom Rack | Sandals: TopShop

I built this look around this dress which was not only beautiful but comfortable and lightweight. It had great movement and was just the unique piece I was looking for to stand out from the other festival girls.

From the funky 70s inspired paisley print done in beautiful spring colors to the high low hem to the off the shoulder top, it screamed Coachella and it screamed day 1 PERFECTION to me. I knew I wanted a statement necklace since my neckline was open so I picked up this Free Press piece from Nordstrom Rack. I topped off the look with a pair of tribal inspired TopShop sandals from my closet and my day 1 look was complete.

DAY 2 | Inspiration: Feminine Edge

Boots: DSW (Fergalicious) | Shorts: Forever 21 | Swimsuit: Forever 21 | Jewelry: Forever 21 | Sunglasses: Melrose Trading Post

Day 2 was a dramatic turn from the femininity of day 1 as I channeled my inner edge. It was the day I was going to be seeing Lady Gaga after all so it only made sense.

My shorts, swimsuit and accessories all came from Forever 21 at the Beverly Center. I mixed metals with this look wearing rose gold earrings and a rose gold choker despite the silver detailing on my "West Coast" one piece. These sunset specs were one of my Melrose Trading Post finds and the perfect addition to this look. While my thigh highs perfectly topped off the edgy look, it was far too dusty and hot to wear them to the festival grounds. I added casual but cute flair by swapping these badass boots out for some low profile all white Converse.

Day 3 | Inspiration: Bold Bohemian

Shoes: Converse | Dress: Forever 21 | Sunglasses: Quay x Desi Perkins | Flower Crown: Handmade – ask for details

My luck with dresses was truly unparalleled during my Coachella shopping. I found this yellow number at Forever 21 on the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica. While I had a few options for my day 3 look, after two days of blistering hot weather and being on my feet all day, I stuck with this gorgeous, free flowing dress.

Converse weren't my original choice for my foot adornment however comfort overruled fashion on day 3 (as far as my shoes were concerned at least). Thank God for this beautiful flower crown handmade for me by a coworker (ask me for more info), as my hair was particularly limp after dealing with the elements all weekend. This crown was the finishing touch I needed not only to cover up my curly mop but to become the feminine festival princess I dreamed of.
